I’ve only managed a couple of hours over the last two nights but have started preparation work on the hull stringers. These are made of 45mm x 19mm clear grade Douglas fir, really nice wood. Some need to be cut to shorter lengths and some of them will have to be scarf jointed to go the full hull length. Where they join the stem and stern they have to be tapered. Again I am taking things slowly until I am confident I know what’s what. I will post some photos at the weekend.
