Replenished
A combination of hard work, sale of my beloved Landrover and the generosity of others has allowed me to replenish my stock of epoxy and has put m in a position to get cracking again.
The photo shows the materials that arrived today
- 1 x 33kg Epoxy Resin
- 1 x 9.7kg Slow Hardener
- 1 x 5lit Acetone
- 1 x 30lit Bucket Silica
- 1 x 30lit Bucket Glass Bubbles
- 1 x 30lit Bucket Cotton Microfibre
I got very little change from £650 for that little lot but I’m not cutting corners on something as vital to the structural integrity of the boat as this.
Now all I need to do is to find some time to put the stuff to good use!
Great to see you cracking on again, Neil. Make sure you always keep in mind why it is you’re doing what your are doing. It all has to make sense in the here and now. The dream is always somewhere else, and will never become real. Reality is already there for you, plentiful and splendidly complex and complicated, ready to be lived to the fullest!
I’m glad you were able to accept Eric’s generous donation. It’s humbling to receive for us materialistically conditioned worms, but in he end, if done from the heart, giving and receiving is really all the same!
Great to hear from you Beat and thanks for your kind words. Following your blog has helped keep my spirits up during the past difficult year. You should be incredibly proud of what you and Beatriz have achieved sailing Aluna across the Pacific. I can’t wait to follow in your wake!
