Ready For The Next Level
An easy day today, still in holiday mode and looking forward to another fun night out tonight. I traced and cut out the final bow section of keel doubler and then spent some time cleaning up and sorting out. I have reached the point where I am now ready to start glueing and coating with epoxy. Up to this point I have pretty much been working in my comfort zone, using power tools cutting timber etc are things I have done for years. Mixing epoxy however is a whole new thing. I don’t want to rush into this and make mistakes that will be difficult to rectify so when I’m ready I will spend a few hours mixing up different batches and glueing/coating some test pieces before I go near the real thing. The photos show the backbone and components all ready to disassemble and put back together for real.
