1909 Hrs – Moving On Up
I put in another solid 8 hours today and am now moving into the last stage of glass reinforcement of joints on the starboard hull. I’ve moved up from the main hull to the cabin top joints. I glassed a couple near to the aft beam trough and then spent the rest of my time filleting and masking off all the other joints so that they’re ready to glass tomorrow.
The photo on the right shows everything ready to go.
I also recorded another video blog during my tea break. It’s just me rambling on about the current chaos here in the UK centred around a possible fuel tanker drivers strike and how it’s made me think that building a boat and going self sufficient makes more sense than ever.
