Loving 2007 Already
Well here we are, a brand new year. 12 months ago I was completely lost and alone, with no purpose, no desire, and no direction. Now, after the longest time I really feel that 2007 will be the start of a whole new phase of my life. The contrast could not be greater, I am happier than I have been for many years, good things are happening, some of them planned and worked for, others not, but either way good. Resolutions for 2007? Nope, I don’t need any, just some guidelines:
Live Life, Love Life, Never Stop Exploring (Yes I know that’s the North Face strap line but I like it!)
After the holiday I need to get back to Gleda and start to make some progress again. I can’t say I hit the ground running tonight but I did spend an hour or so easing back in and I did mix up some epoxy! There was a slight technical hitch to start with as the bulb had blown in the warmer and things had got a bit cool. I suspect the 100w may have been overkill as the bulb had really blown i.e. exploded. I’ve put a 60w in now so we’ll see how that does. Anyway despite that I mixed up a small 100g/29g pot and coated and stuck a couple of ply pieces. It will be interesting to see how it cures in the current 5-6’C. I also made a wooden stand for a small electric heater so I can get a bit of temperature into the coating area. Tomorrow I want to try mixing up some adhesive and I will post some photos.
