I’m Not Well You Know
It took a large dose of motivation ( well cough medicine and Lemsip actually) to get me up to the barn today. A cold that has been lurking for a few days surfaced with a vengeance and I was feeling well below par. I was determined to get the planned jobs completed though and I’m pleased to say that I succeeded. I got the bulkhead guides screwed and glued into position (after taking some time to check measure and get square because as it says in the plans, get these wrong and you’ll be living with wonky bulkheads). I also got the stem and stern joints glassed and filled all the screw and nail holes from various trial fixes. Unfortunately the temperatures took a dip this afternoon (4’C) so it will take a while for the epoxy to go off. After that I can sand and coat. I don’t mind too much as I will probably need a couple of nights off to get rid of this cold.
