Neil, She’s taking shape! It’s amazing how many millions of little pieces and tasks there are to this process. It looks like your fillets are perfect candidates for a rub down! A rubbing alcohol rubdown. They’ll be perfect and you won’t have to sand. Here’s the beta. After doing your fillets and shaping them the best you can wait a couple of hours until the eposy is stiffened up, then with a small piece of sponge dipped in rubbing alcohol go over the surface. Scrape away any excess epoxy with a straight razor (the kind painters and glazers use) Razor tip thanks to Scott Williams. Give it a try, you’ll be wowed by the results!

PS do you have a Skype address? We could have a yarn about these things if that would be helpful.

Thanks for that Thomas, yes I know I have some serious sanding to do! I will investigate the rubbing alcohol, I have never come across it here in the UK, maybe Acetone would work the same? Unfortunately I don’t have Skype, I fear my slow broadband wouldn’t cope.

I would not worry too much for all these fillets as they will be completely invisible.
