Engines
Well if you’ve been following my Twitter stream you’ll know that I’ve been doing some paid work for a while and that’s why Gleda has temporarily been neglected. It looks as if next week might well be the same but as always it’s swings and roundabouts and I’ll make it up.
There was a bit of excitement yesterday when my shiny new engines arrived. Two 9.8hp extra longshaft Tohatsu jobbies. Only one quick photo taken on my phone as I only opened the boxes long enough to check for damage before they were put away somewhere safe. The next time they see the light of day will be when there are some engine boxes to hang them off!
The photo’s below show one of the engines in its box and then I’ve included a few more showing how they are fitted on a Tiki 38. There are two photos of the Tohatsus fitted on Jacques ‘Pilgrim’ and a shot of the Hondas fitted on David Ryans ‘Mon Tiki’
Many thanks to those that replied to my shout for volunteers earlier in the week. As always I’m humbled by the response and I’m excited and encouraged about moving forward with the project.
Engines already?
Isn’t that putting the horsepower before the cart, so to speak!!
Glad you’ve been practical….. not gone for solar charged lithium cells or something else daft.
KISS!!!
