Didn’t do anything last night as late night at work was followed by a much needed de-stress at the pub. Got started much earlier than expected today however when the mobile rang at 7.50 this morning and a cheery voice on the other end said ” Mornin mate! I’ve got a delivery of plywood here for you.” Mad dash to the barn ensued to offload. (I am really lucky as there is a fork truck on site along with a very accommodating landlord…. thanks again Richard). By the way the reason I was surprised was that the delivery was scheduled for tomorrow between 10 and 11! Anyway I now have enough 18mm and 9mm Marine Ply to complete both lower hulls up to the sheathing stage. I also have some large sheets of hardboard for making templates. Tonight I have wired up some more decent lighting and made sure the ply is safely stored. I finished off with another 1/2 hour lofting out two more backbone sections. Unlikely to do anything tomorrow as I have an evening event at work. Its come to my attention that this working for a living does get in the way of boatbuilding!
