I’m still suffering from man flu and general fatigue but I managed a good few hours at the barn today giving it a mega cleanup.
I’ve cleared out a lot of scrap timber, sorted out the remaining stock and extricated my 12mm and 9mm plywood reserves that were buried under at least 18 months worth of dust and debris.
I’ve rearranged things to give me the maximum amount of working space around the hulls and I’m now in a position to crack on with constructing the deckpod and engine boxes.
I also had a preliminary conversation with a transport contact about the trailers needed to get ‘Gleda’ down to the coast. Looks like I’ll be taking a big chunk out of my kitty for that. Still if you’re daft enough to build an ocean going catamaran smack bang in the middle of the country as far from the sea as it’s possible to get then I guess it’s hard to moan eh?
