Baby Its Cold Outside
Still cold and fog has not cleared all day (see below). Did OK tonight though as I got the skeg and keel doubler templates drawn & cut out. They were quite time consuming to do because the hull curve has to be marked twice, once in the actual hull curve position and then again with a 6mm offset. This involves gradually bending and temporarily screwing a long thin batten to the backbone to allow a fair curve to be drawn. In actual fact I had to do this a third time to mark the position of the hullside flange battens. Felt the cold tonight as this was not physical work just measuring, marking & light cutting. On the subject of temperature, changing the bulb in the epoxy warmer has made all the difference. 0’C in the barn 15’C in the box. No work will be done tomorrow night as I am hoping for a night of warmer pleasures!
I think this may be REASONS TO SAIL AWAY #2
