983Hrs – Power Out
An area power outage meant I had to change my plans tonight. I had enough light to work until 8 o clock but without power I couldn’t do the prep work on the sides of the bulkheads as I had intended. I drilled some small holes in the bulkheads adjacent to the stringer notches ready for initial wiring in place then moved on to look at the seats and shelves that fit in the main cabin areas. As I said already I want to leave myself lots of options for fitting out later on but these sections need to be in place to support the main companionway steps into each hull and to fit the small dividing bulkheads. These parts of the hulls also have the last remaining remnants of the ‘wobble’ so I put my ratchet straps to use to pull things together then dug out some suitable pieces of ply to use. It took a while studying the drawings and taking measurements but I’m now clear about what to do. The photo shows one piece in place and ready to mark.
