948Hrs – Floating About
The wind may have died but it’s been replaced by torential rain. There is a lot of flooding and the intensity of the rain was such that the gutters in the barn overflowed and lots of water found its way over the barn floor. No real damage though just some wet sheets of chipboard and ply which will dry no problem.
Despite the damp I cracked on with filleting the new toilet compartment bulkhead and remaining stringers then got another coat on the 12mm beamtrough sheet.
Some good news by e-mail today. Martin Hivon in Canada has received the aluminium order and my masts and crossbeam will be packed and shipped shortly. He sent me some photos and they look beautiful! As does his hull!
