946Hrs – Calm after Storm
I hadn’t planned to do any work on the boat yesterday as my daughter was visiting. It’s as well because the weather was crazy. Strong and gusty North Easterly winds brought down tree branches and because of the direction, blew leaves and debris right through the barn. Despite being sheltered to a great extent by a brick wall my epoxy tent suffered a bent ridge pole and took a battering. No damage to the boat though I’m pleased to say. Tonight there is not a breath and its turning muggy and humid. The work session tonight saw me glassing the new toilet compartment bulkhead in place. I’m glassing it because of the less than perfect fit and I will form epoxy fillets over the glass tomorrow. I also got another coat on the sheet of 12mm needed for the second set of beam trough sides.
