898Hrs – Warming To The Job
The temperature today has reached 20’C and it is such a nice change to be able to work comfortably in a tee shirt. First job today was to fit the gas locker floor. I had held off from this job whilst I mulled over the possibility of fitting a ‘grey’ water holding tank beneath. I decided against this because it would have been totally inaccessible and I didn’t think that was such a good idea, better to position it inside the gas locker itself. Fitting the floor was fairly straightforward after a bit of planing to ensure it sat fair and level on the chine stringers. I finished off by turning the four sheets of 12mm ply and putting on the first coat of epoxy.
