823Hrs – Toilet Work
This weather is really getting to me. Just a few degrees above freezing, chilly wind blowing through the barn and frequent flurrys of snow, the cold seemed to numb my brain as well as my hands today and I made very slow progress thinking about, and experimenting with my toilet installation. That said I now have a clearer idea how I am going to do it and I think it will work well. The picture shows the basic idea. Going back to the weather I looked back at my blog for this time last year and guess what, the weather was exactly the same!
I did a run to the local DIY store today and stocked up on foam rollers, a couple of decent brushes, some brush cleaner and a tin of universal primer. Although the chlorine rubber paint works quite well without primer in areas that will not be subject to any wear and tear I want a tougher finish in areas that will be used for storage so I will see if this primer makes a difference. Failing that I will have to use my expensive two-part epoxy primer.
