800Hrs – On The Up
A solid 8 hour day and 800 hours reached. I’m feeling much better about the work now I have sorted my head out. As I had planned, I steamed on, working my way aft through the port hull sanding, cleaning up, prepping and then filleting everything that will become inaccessible soon. I also did any areas that won’t interfere with later work. It was a day of radio on, head down and crack on! Not exciting but solid progress. Earlier this week I forget the six P’s (Piss Poor Planning = Piss Poor Performance). From now on I will always plan!
Thank’s to Nonthawat, Jacques and Thomas for last night’s comments, good to hear from you guys. Jacques, I hope you had a successful weekend fitting your beam. Don’t beat yourself up too much about your mistake, I have a feeling that there is some inevitability about making one. I made my first fixing the stern lowerhullside and I just know that there will be others. I guess that in part it is these errors that make each Wharram unique to it’s builder. Hey Thomas I trust that all this working is just a temporary blip in the planned adventure. I miss following your blog!
