792Hrs – A Bit Of Filleting
I’ve only managed a couple of hours today but I used them well and got some more filleting done. For those that don’t know this is the process of making small ‘coved’ sections of filled epoxy along all the stringer and bulkhead joints to give them strength. There is miles and miles of filleting to do on a Tiki 38! The photo shows the port forward cabin floor area aft of the bunk all filleted up. I am using a big nylon spoon to shape the bulkhead fillets, smoothing off with a brush and rubbing alcohol, hopefully this will minimise sanding.
