667Hrs – Aching
I’ve discovered that this part of the build would be better carried out by a double jointed dwarf. Even in the bigger compartments it is necessary to perform contortions to ensure that the epoxy filling and glass application is carried out properly. Add to that the constant climbing up and down the steps to get in and out of the hull and it all adds up to a serious amount of exercise. Well I guess its cheaper than gym fees…….hang on, maybe not given the price of epoxy! Anyway I have now completed the port No 5 compartment and both No 4 compartments so only 6 more compartments to go, mind you they are the smallest and most awkward so I’m going to be aching a while yet!
