645Hrs – Three And A Half Down
It could get boring this! I am in another phase of work which is not that interesting even when you are the one doing it, so it must be really boring for those reading it! I wasn’t able to work last night because of a long road trip back down to Cornwall (work not pleasure). The weather here has been appalling again. Torrential rain for days and many flood warnings out. Today has been a respite but we are back to the rain for the next few days. I know it’s not extreme by world standards but it really does gnaw away. By way of compensation for my lost evening yesterday I managed to get five hours in this evening and moved over to the starboard hull. In keeping with my objective of bringing the hulls up together I started working on the backbone fillets in the stern compartments as before. My improved techniques allowed me to complete the sternmost compartment and get the first fill into the next one. I’m beginning to get back into the groove and will keep on pushing as long as I can.
Photo left shows finished fillets in the port hull stern compartments.
