631Hrs – New Year ~ New Start
Well here I am again, back to work and back to Gleda. A most enjoyable break has left me wound down and lethargic. I confess that keen though I was to get back to building it came hard tonight. It’s still dark and its still freezing and I have got used to sitting in front of a log fire with some nice company and a nice bottle (or 2) of wine of an evening! Nothing constructive achieved tonight, just swept out the leaves, reminded myself where everything was and did some token key sanding down in the stern section. It feels really strange climbing step ladders and getting into the boat to work! My next job is to make all the hefty epoxy fillets down in the keel/backbone joints so it’s back to mixing epoxy again. I need to start building some momentum again and crack on!!
Wecome back.
I have noticed that too: It is always difficult to resume after a break.
