570Hrs – Adapting
Well there is no doubting that winter is creeping in now. OK we don’t have the extremes of climate that occur elsewhere but the dark, the damp and the cold still gnaw away at motivation levels and make everything that bit harder. It was already -2C when I headed up to the barn tonight and it only got a few degrees above freezing all day. I knew it would be pointless trying to do any more filling even with the heater so I changed tack and started on construction of the hull stands. I pretty much followed the outline drawing shown in the plans and used scrap timber and chipboard. I ended up with one nearly complete stand. I now know what I am doing and will crack on and make all four to a similar pattern. They need to be strong as, once turned, the hulls will sit in them until completion.
