550Hrs – Therapeutic Work
A bad day at the office today left me feeling depressed. frustrated and angry. The reasons are not for airing here but suffice it to say they served to remind me yet again why I am building Gleda and why I need to change my way of living. Anyway as a result I poured myself into the build tonight and split the time between more sanding on the starboard hull and then preparation, spot sanding and wash down of the remaining unfilled side of the port hull. I would normally have called it a night at that stage but I kicked on and got three quarters of the hullside first coat filled. I only stopped because I ran out of filler. I have already ordered some more and hopefully it will arrive by the weekend. I have used 6 litres (just over 1 1/4 gallons) of mixed filler so far, don’t know if that’s good or bad. I now have a huge amount of sanding to look forward too!
