537Hrs – Seasonal Shift
The clocks went back yesterday, It was dark at 5.30pm tonight and it was only just above freezing coming back from the barn at 8.00pm. Time to readjust to winter working. Everything gets harder now. Motivation and energy levels are low, it will take me a week or two to adjust. I’m going away on Wednesday and won’t be back until Sunday then I have a work trip to Ireland. Hopefully by the time I get back I will have adjusted and will be able to kick on. Tonight was not terribly constructive, my heater still hasn’t arrived so I couldn’t apply any quantity of filler, the filler I put on Saturday is still not cured and just kept clogging the sandpaper. I did spend some time with the Surform knocking off lumps and I also mixed up a small filler batch and filled some cut out air bubbles in the port hull, then I started drawing out and measuring for the hull supports. That target of turning the hulls by December is starting to look ambitious.
