458.5Hrs – I See You Baby!
I’m very pleased to say that my laser eye correction surgery went well. I had the treatment on Thursday afternoon and on Friday morning I was passed fit to drive. I have some slight bruising and soreness but overall nothing worth complaining about. It’s going to take some weeks for things to settle down and at the moment my eyes are quite light sensitive and everything has a slight ‘soft focus’ appearance. That said the change is staggering. I was very short sighted before and needed my glasses for everything, now my distance vision is fantastic, Close up work and reading is a problem though and although I will see an improvement over the months I will probably need reading glasses. That’s an age thing though!
I’m supposed to be resting but boredom set in and I escaped up to the barn for a few hours where I managed to get a coat of epoxy on all the remaining bare plywood on both hulls. That can cure off well now before prepping for sheathing. I have five full days set aside from Tuesday next week and I am determined to get this major work completed.
