434Hrs – Tired Restart
As predicted the demands of the past few weeks left me with no time for Gleda. Hopefully things will ease a bit now but I was working till the early hours of this morning in London and got to the barn having had only a few hours of poor quality sleep. What better job to start back with then than sanding! I’m not saying I slept whilst doing it but t isn’t the most stimulating type of work. Actually I did sleep whilst at the barn, I sat down with a cuppa and the next thing I knew I woke with a start having nodded off and tipped the cup of tea down my leg! I shall certainly have an early night tonight and catch up some.
Thanks for the comments posted whilst I’ve been away. Welcome back Jaques and Tsunamichaser and also to Neil B in Thunder Bay whose comments regarding the slowness of building in more extreme climates. I really should be grateful for the relative kindness of our climate and the workspace I have. Keep at it Neil!
Tomorrow I hope to finish sanding and get the last glassing done on the bottom of the skegs. Then it will be a big clean up and preparation for sheathing. Yikes!
