368 Hrs – Ready To Glass
I had great intentions of doing a lot today but annoyingly a migraine which has been dogging me since Thursday decided otherwise. I know better than to tackle taxing jobs when I feel like this so I spent quite a lot of time planing the port keel a bit at a time, checking with a straight edge periodically, and I now have a keel that is acceptably straight. I will get it perfect when I apply glass and fairing compound. I then had a big sweep up and vacuumed off the dust. I then cut all the matting for the hullside joints, stems and the leading edges of the skegs. I also moved my new 33kg drum of epoxy into the shack ready as I have almost finished the first one. How many more will I need I wonder? I hope I can get cracking on the glass tomorrow.
