3593Hrs A Grey Grey Day
A dull grey day today although dry and quite mild. I matched the days colour by painting grey primer on the tillers and tiller bar.
The only other constructive job completed today was the fitting of the bronze sea cock for the galley sink drain. The rest of my time was spent making a list of bits and pieces that I need to complete the fitting of seacocks and to stop the port hull water tank fittings leaking. I now know what I need and what I need to do. Before I left I removed the water tank completely so I can do the job properly.
As I said yesterday, all the main construction is now complete, I’ve decided that over the next few weeks I’m going to work my way through the cabins and get the remaining interior construction finished off.
Ahhh what a relief that you keep on posting… I cannot get away for the next few years but I can dream.
Now that almost everything is built could you give an estimate about the total material costs? I think your number is of great interest to other would be builders.
Hi Michael, If you bear with me I plan to give a summary of the build including costs once ‘Gleda’ is launched.
