3353Hrs – Sanding, Routing, Coating,Priming
A mix of jobs done today. A couple of hours spent sanding the engine boxes and engine wells then a first coat of primer on the engine wells and the side deck supports up on the cabin tops.
A bit of time with the router finishing the edges of the engine box lids, then to finish off, a coat of neat epoxy on all the accessible bare timber and ply on the engine boxes.
Not terrifically exciting but all getting me closer to finishing these thing off.

I’ve had a few new visitors to this website recently and they’ve all pointed out that it’s difficult to get a quick overview of how the build has progressed without spending a lot of time looking back through the years of archive posts.
It’s a fair point, so last night I created a new page showing photos from the key stages of the build. It was great to look back and remind myself how far I’ve come. The new page is called ‘START HERE’
Great addition with the Start Here page! I can definitely see it being useful to new readers, and I think I’ll even enjoy visiting from time to time just to relive the overall progression.
