3326Hrs – Shroud Plate Pads Inside
A short work session today but once again things went well.
I cut, shaped and glued the eight 9mm ply shroud plate backing pads inside the hulls and got a coat of neat epoxy on the external utile pads I glued yesterday.
Photo show two of the backing pads in the port hull.
I’ve ordered up the 6mm stainless bolts needed to fix the shroud plates so I should get this job all finished by the end of the week.
I’m also making up what should be my final timber order. I need material for lashing strakes, rubbing strakes, decks and supports, tillers and gaffs.
Scary to think of the time, money and effort still required to get me to the finish line but I’ll make it happen.
