3317Hrs – Nearly A Heatwave
Weird weather day today, very dull, very still, but the temperature went up to 10’C (50’F) whereas yesterday it barely got above freezing. It’s only a blip though and the forecast is for colder weather by the weekend.
I’m sorry that my posts have been somewhat boring these past weeks. They’re just a reflection of the reality right now as I try to keep things moving with weather and mood against me. Please bear with me for a little longer as I can see some more exciting things on the horizon soon.
If nothing else today has bought me close to the end of engine box construction. As planned I got engine box No2 filleted. It’s not pretty but it’s strong and once the epoxy has had a few days to harden I’ll give everything a sand and then see about offering them into position again.
I’ll have to figure out a better way of lifting them into place this time as the piled up polystyrene blocks were not ideal. One man ingenuity is required once more.
