3152Hrs – New Season, New Start
Well September passed in a blur as I worked 10-12 hour days and 7 day weeks on a fun project to convert an old Massey Ferguson 135 tractor into a replica Victorian steam engine that, along with three carriages we also built, spent this weekend moving visitors around the site of the new Kings Cross station development in London.
As always I felt frustrated at the lack of boatbuilding progress whilst at the same time knowing that I was preparing the ground for at least another month of dedicated progress on ‘Gleda’.
I’ve a few bits and pieces to clear up this week but next week I’ll be back in earnest.
Today I just spent a couple of hours mainly reminding myself which bits of boat went where before making and epoxying some hardwood strengtheners onto the stern ramp.
