3057Hrs – Trundling Along Nicely
Another decent work session today, I feel like I’m making good progress overall and I’m happy that I’m making the most of the weather while it lasts.
Today I removed all the main hatches and slider mounts and got them sanded and first coat primed. I finished the dorade vents and got two coats of primer on those.
Lastly I made the last hatch cover for the gas locker. I’ve opted to keep this as a simple ‘lid’ held in place with shock cord. It won’t be accessed all that often and given it’s location near the port tiller any sort of hinge might make it difficult to access in any case.
The photos tell the story of my day.
