2904Hrs – Deckpod Moves
After a weekend of other commitments I was back working on the deckpod today.
I started work on making the sides first but I soon got a bit frustrated as I was short of room to work freely around the pod due to it’s position between the hulls.
Given the amount of work I have left to do on the pod I thought it would be worth my while to move it to the other end of the barn where my now depleted plywood stock used to sit and where there would be more natural light and more room to work.
It was a fairly easy job to slide the pod onto the fork truck and drive it round the block and into the other end of the barn.
After taking some time to get it sitting level on blocks I was then able to get the new sides epoxied into place.
I’m really pleased with the way my modified deckpod design has come together and I’m now keen to crack on with the glassing and painting as soon as I can.
