I had quite a fun day today, after a bit more rubbing down I got out the brush and roller and pottered along slapping the first primer coat on the crossbeams.
I always enjoy these ‘transformative’ days, the ones when something you’ve looked at for a long long time get an almost instant visual makeover into something new.
That’s cool though I’ll take a bit of time sorting those out before the next coat goes on.This first primer coat is what I call a ‘reveal’ coat because it shows up all the areas you somehow failed to fill or sand properly. If you look closely on the photos you’ll spot a few!
Luck was with me today as well because I emptied my last tin of primer just as I applied the last few brush strokes!
