263 Hrs – Long Stringers
Took it a bit easier today after the stresses of the last week. I removed the screws from the panel I fitted yesterday and then spent some tie with the plans checking the panel positions at stem and stern and temporarily clamping up some stringers along the panel edges to see how fair the line was. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, I already knew the stern panel was low but actually when lining up with the bottom corners of all the bulkheads things are not that far out. Wanting to get a really fair line and also to start taking out the ‘wobble’ I’ve scarfed up two stringers the full length of the hull. I will use these to get a fair chne line, cutting back the panels where necessary.
