2573Hrs- Driven Below
In three weeks time the clocks change to British Summer Time but right now that looks like someones idea of a joke.
The temperature today hasn’t gone above 1’C (34’F) and there’s a bitter East wind blowing right through the barn making it feel far colder. I looked back at the post I made on this day last year and I was working in 16’C (61’F) with clear blue sky and bright sunshine!
Anyway I know when I’m beaten so I retired down below and started tatting round in the galley again.
I’ve sanded, filled, sanded and applied a second coat of white primer undercoat to quite a bit of the galley area. I still have some epoxy filleting to do on the outboard side so that will have to wait for another day.
It looks like this weather could be in for the week so I’ll continue down below whilst it lasts. Hopefully the water tanks and water system bits and pieces will arrive tomorrow, that will give me plenty to do.
