2543Hrs – 50% Spaced Out
Well the thermometer might say it’s a few degrees warmer than of late but as I worked on the boat today it certainly didn’t feel like it. There was a chilly breeze blowing through the barn and I really felt it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’ve just about had enough of this Winter!
Anyway I was determined to crack on with something a bit more productive than my recent tatting about in the galley so I gritted my teeth and set to gluing on the lashing strake spacer blocks. As has happened before the job didn’t turn out to be half as bad as I’d built it up to be and I’ve now got both inboard sets glued on so I’m halfway there.
As always it’s just a matter of getting into a routine and plugging on. I intend to finish the job tomorrow.
I’ve annotated the pictures below to show how the jobs done. 52 done today 52 to do tomorrow.
Neil – I’m curious why there are so many blocks all along the hull. Why aren’t they just where the beam lashings are?
Hi Roger
Hopefully I answered your query in Saturdays post. Thanks for asking 🙂
