239 Hrs – Ready to Go
Final prep sanding done tonight along stringer edges and edges of bulkheads, all the places where there will be epoxy fillets later. This is necessary to ensure a really good bond and much easier to do whilst everything is exposed. Its quite a leap to start looking at areas that for months have been exposed and to realise that in a short while they will be hidden ‘inside’. I started with flat bits of wood, moved to a three dimensional ‘skeleton’ and soon I will have an inside and an outside or rather inboard and outboard!
Typically the weather has turned again, wet and only 8’C (46’F), I hope it bucks up a bit for the weekend. Photo shows bulkhead edge prep, I’d just swept up hence the dust blobs in the flash!
