211 Hrs – Epoxy Second Coat
My work rate has dropped this last few days as a migraine seems to have drained me a bit and my energy levels are low. The weather suited the mood today as well – damp and drizzly! I just did an hour tonight and got the second epoxy coat done on the second set of lower hullside panels.
Today I made several phone calls and sent a detailed e-mail with photos to my timber supplier regarding the sub standard plywood, initially they claimed that they had checked their stock and could see no problem. I have left them in no doubt however that I am not accepting these boards and I have had no response yet to the photos I e-mailed. I am hoping they do the right thing or they will have a fight on their hands! Many thanks to Tim and Thomas for your comments, information and photos. Very helpful.
I am not likely to get much done this week as I have a heavy work load with travel to London. Belfast for two days and then Ashford in Kent as I’ve said before and will no doubt say again, this working for a living does get in the way of boatbuilding!
