2063Hrs – Hull Sheathing Done!
Yay! Todays work session saw me sheathing the last two aft deck sections which means I’ve now got both hulls completely sheathed. I’ve got a few more small areas to cover with biaxial glass tape plus I want to run some additional strips of biax along the bow and stern sections but once that’s done I can move onto filling and sanding, filling and sanding, filling ………. you get the idea.
When I started the sheathing three weeks ago I estimated it would take me about 66 hours to complete, it’s actually taken me 54 so I’m pleased with that.
I’ll be starting to write up my notes from my ‘Tiki Pilgrimage’ soon so watch this space for the first installment.
