2018Hrs- Super Sheathing Saturday
I really got in the flow today. As always these repetitive jobs get easier as you get used to them. You tweak the tools and techniques, you don’t have to stop and think about things as much and you just knuckle down and crack on.
I put in a solid 7 hours today and got another 4 sections sheathed. When I started the sheathing process a few days back it was taking me at least two hours per section so I’ve shaved 15 minutes off somewhere. Not only that but I spent some time chanfering off the edges of the already sheathed sections with a flap wheel on the angle grinder
It’s not a case of rushing either because the standard of finish I’m getting is improving as well. A new ‘bubble burster’ paddle roller is helping as is my improved handling of the glass twill and PeelPly which eliminates stretching and creases.
Still bets not to think about how much is left to do but after a day like today I know I’ll get there sooner rather than later.
Getting There!
