2003Hrs – Noteworthy Day
Todays work session saw me pass the 2000 hour mark and as luck would have it I also reached another major stage of the build in that I’ve now sanded down the starboard hull and I’m ready to start sheathing.
I’m under no illusion about how much work is left to do but I really feel like I’m picking up some momentum now and it’s my intention to keep it going as long as I can. Yes, I know I’ve said that before but this time things feel somehow different. Somewhere along the way this pile of plywood and epoxy morphed from being just that into a sailing vessel… premature? Maybe, but Gleda feels different to me now, she’s a sailing vessel eager to be afloat and I’m going to do all in my power to help her get there soon.
