200 Hrs – Lower Hullsides Lofted
Freaky weather for Easter in the UK, 23’C (73’F) today and we ate our evening meal al fresco! Anyway I did a couple of hours today lofting out the lower hullsides onto my remaining sheets of ply, these can then be epoxied before cutting and using as templates to cut the other three sides. The lofting was fairly straightforward having got the techniques mastered when drawing out the backbones. Photo below right shows a long batten bent to draw a fair curve to the station points. The one on the left is an artistic creation I shall call ‘ Into the Sun’ !
