1453Hrs- Front To Back
I’ve managed to get in eight hours work over the weekend concentrating mainly on the bow sections. I had a fairly long and dusty sanding session getting all the fillets and bow strengthening nice and smooth before applying a final coat of epoxy to everything prior to paint. I also glued in and filleted the two deck bearer supports onto the forward face of the No 1 bulkhead. To finish of I moved back to the stern section of the starboard hull and got the last section of deck glued into position. It’s great to have properly enclosed my first section of the boat. The Easter holidays are fast approaching and I’m really looking forward to some time off work. I want to take some R&R but I also want to get some good work session in and move things forward a bit. I’ll be placing another epoxy order tomorrow because I don’t want to be caught short of materials over the holidays.
Hi Neil,
That’s a good pic of the starbard butt. It must be a great feeling to see a completely enclosed bit of boat? Little and often…
All the best,
Paul
