1443Hrs- Pleasing Fillets
Filleting is not normally something I look forward to. It takes time to mix up the small batches of filled epoxy to achieve the right non slumping consistency. It takes time to apply the fillets neatly and usually you are working in cramped inaccessible places. Tonight though I was just pleased to be able to put in some hours and to get something achieved. I worked in the starboard bow section and got all the fillets completed. It was also nice to work in reasonable temperatures and with some daylight well into the evening. I’m determined to make the most of these precious days. Many thanks to Chris for his supportive comments, it is easy to lose perspective sometimes but mostly it’s just impatience! Jacques comment about epoxy allergy are a timely reminder of one of the greatest dangers facing a builder. It is all to easy to become blase about protection from what, after all, are nasty chemicals. I’m guilty of it myself and I will take note of Jacques’ words and pay more attention. I can only hope that Jacques can control things enough to finish without too many problems.
