1393Hrs- Take Two
It appears I was a bit too keen to crack on last night. I was looking at the plans tonight deciding what to do next when I noticed that the outer hull sheer stringers are made up from 70mm x 19mm timber not the 45mm x 19mm I beautifully scarfed last night! One was tempted to say ARSE! Anyway this discovery answered my question of what to do tonight. Same story, different timber, no clamps this time just improvised weights. No harm done but once again a wake up call to check and double check particularly when tired!
It’s my Birthday tomorrow so no work tomorrow night due to a celebratory meal and drinks with friends. That will probably mean that not a lot will be done Saturday either! These events do focus the mind though. I started this project a few months before my 50th, tomorrow is my 52nd and there’s a long way to go yet. Despite the enforced slow start I am determined to make this year the one in which I get over the crest and start surfing towards the launch.
