1371Hrs – Time Starved
I’d really hoped to get some momentum back into the build by now but it’s not happening. My new job demands long days and this combined other essential activities has meant that I’ve made no progress this week. It’s looking as if January 2009 will turn out to be my least productive month of the build so far. Next weekend I’m off to Paris for my daughters’ 21st birthday so I won’t get anything done then. Not that I am in any way concerned about that, it’s a one off event that I wouldn’t miss for the world. The weather has also conspired against me and today as it was only just above freezing any epoxy work was out of the question. I concentrated instead on sanding and prepping the port aft compartment ready for a full coat of epoxy. I am also experimenting with a neoprene primer that I hope will allow me to use a cheaper white primer to ‘wallop’ out these areas that do not demand a high standard of finish.
