1358Hrs – Goin Colder
Another filleting session tonight and the stern compartment is about two thirds done. The temperature is only just above freezing though so I’m not sure if I can finish tomorrow. At least it makes the fillets less likely to slump!. I’ve also found the perfect tool for the job, its a flexible metal cooking spatula made of thin steel, about an inch wide and with exactly the right radius on the end. It now takes longer to mix a pot of filled epoxy than to make the fillet. You can see in the photo the ‘workmanlike’ finish I’m getting.
Workmanlike but perfectly serviceable by the look of them Neil, good job mate not easy mixing in those temperatures, feels cold here in Thailand, about 15C this morning!! t’s great to see you progressing after the trials and tribulations of a few months ago, I have a job interview today, if successful then I will be able to relax a bit,
Chris
