1025Hrs – Mast Knees Fixed
I spent tonight’s work session getting the mast knees glued into position. I am taking things carefully with these critical sections, spending plenty of time with the spirit level, laser square and steel rule to make sure that everything is in the right place. Once happy I marked the positions on the hull and screwed in a temporary batten from the bulkhead on the opposite sides of the hull so as to enable me to keep the hull width constant. It was then simply a case of mixing up some glue and neatly gluing the sections in place. Sorry there are no photos, my camera battery was flat, I’ll post some tomorrow that I hope will make it easier to understand what I did tonight.
